A lovely and smooth cup of tea. When having it hot, I tasted the citrus notes with no bitterness:) Another day I tried it as a cold ice tea and it was just as good and enjoyable! I thoroughly enjoyed my Japanese Black tea experience! Thank you Ocha & Co Tea!

I bought this tea some days ago and have put off tasting it for many of those days... so here I am, drinking my 1st cup and writing this note.... i like the Japanese greens very, very much and was ready to be disappointed with the black especially since I like both the Chinese and India teas so much. Well, one sip is all it took... great aroma, smooth, smooth, smooth in a beautiful reddish liquor. Lots of flavor with a base I like but can’t identify. I recommend it not because it’s better or worse than others i’ve had but because it’s different enough to make it interesting and , it’s tasty, besides... 2nd infusion as good as the first... i’ve been won over....

The Japanese black loose leaf tea is perfect. As are all of Ocha & Co.'s teas. O&C has become my primary source for quality matcha, sencha and kukicha, offered at a competitive price with great service. Thank you O&C!

It is true that Japan is more famous for its green teas and matcha. I don't even remember what inspired me to try this Organic Black Tea but it is now my black tea of choice. Delicate and smooth flavour. Light colour. So far I haven't tried more pleasant black tea. Thank you!

Oh yeah, this tea is supersweet, literally! What came to my mind after the first sip: brown rock sugar and golden syrup. But I knew there was more, thus after the first cup, thinking about it, it also reminded me of dark chocolate, rose hip jam and blackthorn jam. Finally, I also had to think of dried bananas. One last thing: This is the only tea I know of which even the third brew is classy, and that's really outstanding! In sum: AWESOME!
